Manisha Koirala in Rituparno Ghosh's KHELA
KHELA is about an idealistic director's quench to make a film with a boy who he thinks is jut perfect for the role. The film also deals with relationships and emotions but with a twist by adding up humor, adventure and edge-of-the-seat mystery. Rituparno Ghosh's previous movies dealt with intense relationship web and serious emotions. Rituparno has always chosen indoor locations to shoot his previous films, however with KHELA; he has explored shooting outdoors. KHELA is Manisha Koirala's first film with Rituparno Ghosh and her debut in Bengali films.
The music of the film is composed by a band from Kolkata called 21 Grams. Prosenjit, Manisha Koirala, and Raima Sen are the lead performers in the film.
