With two sex comedies MASTIZAADE and KYA KOOL HAI HUM 3 pitied against each other, as they are releasing back-to-back this January, the competition between the two films is bound to get intense and aggressive. So, even if it means creating controversy, then any publicity is good publicity!

Recently, news was rife that Tusshar Kapoor and Milap Zaveri’s, who has directed MASTIZAADE, friendship has gone kaput. Since Tusshar is part of both the movies and also the fact they are releasing within a gap of one week, this has caused tension between the duo. In fact the reports had it that Tusshar is promoting his home production KYA KOOL HAI HUM 3 over his friend's directorial venture MASTIZAADE and because of that there is rift between the two.

However, the sudden speculations regarding the cracks in their long friendship appeared absurd. It rather looked a promotional stunt to create the buzz around the film.

If that was not enough to create huge headlines, then Riteish Deshmukh (who plays an extended cameo in the film) lately blamed the makers of MASTIZAADE on a micro-blogging site for unfairly breaching the contract and using him for promoting the film. Whereas it was clear from day one and the makers had even sent the official statement saying that Riteish is not part of the film and he just has an extended cameo. Moreover, Riteish is good friends with Milap Zaveri and the duo share a great understanding and bonding. So it was a little strange to grasp the fact that Riteish is miffed with MASTIZAADE makers.

With Riteish suddenly posting about his displeasure over the matter, it only appears to be another gimmick from the makers to create noise around the film.

Well, if it is done in a bid to bring the film in limelight, then the makers of MASTIZAADE will perhaps have to find some better ideas and ways to promote their product.
