The nation was taken aback with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's radical decision to ban the glorified 1000 and 500 currency notes. While the country is struggling to get back on track with the dearth of money flow, several industries have been affected by this stringent decision. Like many other industries, the entertainment business is also no exception as it generates major revenue for the artistes, technicians and the spot boys.

Although the decision seems to be tough to get adapted, but the citizens are realizing the significance of it and the long run benefits it will.

Meet Bros. (Manmeet Singh and Harmeet Singh), the reputed music-duo, who has given several chartbusters in the industry are not only abiding by the sudden move of honourable PM but also understanding the common man’s plight. However, the music wizards are sure this decision will bring a positive wave around and things will change for better.

'I'm totally in support of the decision. Like the rest of the people of the country I too have implicit faith in our prime minister and his policies. Having said that, I'm also equally concerned about the technicians who work with us on shows and shoots. From the dress dada to the spot boys, there are people who don't even have a bank account. Right now they're in a lurch,' says Manmeet Singh.

'I applaud our prime minister's strategy and the measures to get rid of black money. Being responsible tax paying citizens of India, I welcome the big change. However one has to wait and watch the impact of this decision in the coming time. For now, it disturbs me no end to see women and senior citizens queuing up outside banks for hours to get newer currency. The lay man has to figure out their daily plan, from groceries to the commute. Especially when they don't even have a bank account. But like the age old saying goes 'no pain, no gain'. Hopefully the struggle will pay off in long term,' says Harmeet Singh.

The musical duo has been busy with their rehearsals and their shoots. They have been traveling for work before the PM announced the 'big' ban.
