From the time director Milan Luthria
started working on ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI
till now when he is almost done with THE DIRTY PICTURE, there have been quite a few mischief mongers who have been happy to insinuate that he and producer Ekta Kapoor
have not been on good terms with each other. This, when they are all set to work with each other on ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI 2 next year with talks of a sequel to THE DIRTY PICTURE

"Tell me something new; I keep hearing that Ekta and I are not on a good wicket with each other," says Milan with a touch of disappointment in his voice. "We don't meet each other on a regular basis or frequently interact but then I always get support from her whenever I need it. Also, I want to dispel one more myth around her desire to supervise every department of filmmaking. None of this happens and I have experienced this first hand on both the films I have done with Balaji."
Rubbishing rumours of Ekta's interference during the making if his films, Milan adds, "In fact she hardly came on the sets, and at times I had to drag her into watching us work on an interesting scene or show her the interim results. She is someone who likes to leave it to the director and the writer to get the job right. She has too much of workload on her; she doesn't have time to focus on just one product coming out of her company. She likes to be pulled in for her opinion only when you really need it. She is quite cool!"
Well, seems like this partnership could well be for the keeps. However the immediate focus is on Vidya Balan
starrer THE DIRTY PICTURE which releases worldwide on 2nd December.
