Here is the movie review of con-comedy FRAUD SAIYAAN starring Arshad Warsi directed by Sourabh Shrivastava that is running in theatres. Is it worth the joy ride?, let’s find out in the movie review of FRAUD SAIYAAN.
The constant feeling that runs while watching FRAUD SAIYAAN
Do talents like Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla need such endorsement to become the favorites of social media troll experts?. What is the purpose behind making such dumb con saga that goes gaga for no reason and derivates woman for no rhyme and reason.
Anywhere even remotely near Arshad Warsi’s previous comedies like MUNNABHAI, JOLLY LLB, GOLMAAL etc.?
So what is this FRAUD SAIYAAN all about?
A pain in the…. Sorry. It’s the story of Mr Tripathi (Arshad Warsi) who lures woman from Lucknow to Kashi. A bhogvilasi this Tripathi is a con man maloom... whose mantra of life is Chutki Bhar Sindoor Aur Naukri Ki Tension Hamesha Ke Liye Door, marries more than a dozen women and cons them. Relative of one of the victim- Murari (Saurabh Shukla) a detective joins him so that one day he can catch him. A call from a lady gangster Chanda (Sara Loren) halts Tripathi’s dream run. He gets threatened of dire consequences if he doesn't mend his ways and settles down with the lady don.
What to look out for in FRAUD SAIYAAN?
Good joke once again!! Clap clap (smilies)
Any cringe worthy moments in Fraud Saiyaan?
Yaar, ek ho toh batau.. this is insane and I don't like to use the word stupid. May be the director Sourabh Shrivastava was right in his allegations and his demand to remove his name from the movie. Picture this... the young teenage Tripathi proposes a girl. The girl doesn't respond. Tripathi forces her to say yes. The girl slashes Tripathi’s hand. Tripathi with that blood soaked hand puts sindoor on the girl’s forehead. And guess what!!. The girl accepts him as her pati parmeshwar hey ishwar... help kar... and that’s not all; a joke on law on adultery as well is made. Order Order!!.
As said earlier, a waste of talents like Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla in a movie which credits Prakash Jha as producer!
And what about that entire hullabaloo regarding the Chamma Chamma remix by Elli Avrram?
Lesser said the better.
Still reading... okay, then let me conclude with the line said in the movie Jiss Khel Ke Hum Baadshah The, Aaj Uske Joker Banke Baith Gaye Hai. Do I need to say more.
