A home video makes it on the big screen! Anirudh Chawla has a very novel thought about hypocrisy in society but the manner in which he tries to send across his message is not so novel, and is also 'over-the-top preachy'.

It is one thing to make a film with a social message, but it takes craft to deliver the scenes in style without delivering the same message over and over again. Subtlety is an art mastered by a very few.

So we are here at a private party when the host decides he will make a movie on his friends' very private confessions.

One is gay, the other has 'erectile dysfunction', another is cheating on his wife while yet another couple are in an open relationship and yet another still a virgin. There is also this girl, coming from a very conservative, over-protective family, who is engaged to be married, but who already has had a 'scene' with her cousin brother.

All sorts of secrets begin to tumble out. Chawla does well with the use of film titles and film posters in the background as he intersperses the questions with a Bollywood touch.

The actors too do a neat job given the format of the screenplay. Methinks, if the plot was fleshed out in a full-fledged 'feature film treatment', it would have done wonders.

Rating 1.5/5
