After gaining decent collections in the first week on the basis of good weekend, JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM saw a mighty feel in the second week in spite of zero competition from any Bollywood release.
The situation is not expected to get any better in its third week since the film is hardly playing at many multiplexes with AAP KAA SURROOR, APNE and AWARAPAN occupying maximum number of screens. Surprising, since traditionally a Yash Raj Films spells doom for any releases around it as the films coming from the production house are known to occupy majority of screens across prime theatre chains.
With each of the three releases - AAP KAA SURROOR, APNE and AWARAPAN - finding audiences (though at varying degree) and their combined collections promising a multicrore number, it is a foregone conclusion that JBJ would be the film to get most impacted. Ultimately, JBJ may turn out to be the fastest vanishing film coming from YRF in last few years with probably NEAL N NIKKI being the closest competitor.
