Director Ajay Chandok finally managed to make his long delayed debut with NEHLLE PE DEHLLA that released without a bang and disappeared without leaving any trace.
In spite of boasting of ample gags, the film came with a 'delayed' tag with the humor too belonging to the world of 90s that proved to be its undoing. Nevertheless, Chandok has now moved on and is gearing up for the release of his second film titled KISSE PYAAR KAROON?.
A romantic comedy, KPK too is a delayed film which is finally managing to hit the marquee. Starring Arshad Warsi in the lead who is a hot property today post the MUNNABHAI series and KABUL EXPRESS, the film also stars Aashish Chaudhary and Yash Tonk as the other two leads. Film's heroines are Udita Goswami, Aarti Chhabaria and Shweta Menon while Shakti Kapoor and Aashish Vidyarthi form the rest of the starcast.
One hopes that KPK gets a better box office response than NPD and gives Ajay Chandok a reason to smile and get started with a fresh project soon.
