Hollywood calling Prashantt Guptha to play lead in a Christmas Movie

Prashantt has earlier done prominent roles in Bollywood features and has just returned to Mumbai from the Big Apple after completing the movie and is supremely elated on his Hollywood debut. When asked about how this breakthrough is significant, Prashantt replied, “Having grown up in New York, Christmas has always been my favourite holiday. This is one major step forward toward a lifetime dream of wanting to work in both Indian movies and Hollywood.”
The film revolves around a first-generation Indian American who overcomes inner turmoil when a tourist girl from Africa rekindles his spirit during Christmas. Produced by Los Angeles based Mulberry Films, A New Christmas is helmed by New York based director Dani Tenenbaum.
Says Dani about his Indian lead actor, “Prashantt's dedication, professionalism, precision, vision, and attention to details made me understand from the beginning that I'm working with a pro who takes his work very seriously. It is rare to work with an actor who can see the big picture the way Prashantt did and it made the whole collaborative process a successful experience.” Head of Mulberry Films Rashaana Shah further added that “Prashantt has the best of both worlds. A New Yorker with a penchant for Bollywood, He can look rich, poor, a badass, intellectual, street romeo anything. He has ten or more films behind him, but hasn't lost his innocence or freshness.
Prashantt earlier played the baddie opposite Prateik Babbar in ISSAQ, a pivotal role in Sonam Kapoor starrer NEERJA and he has recently shown his singing prowess with the recreation of a Kishore Kumar classic, O Rahi, which has been released by Saregama and garnered over 160,000 views in a month. Apart from that, a new short film he stars in, TU, was recently released and trended globally for its motivational message.
