Priyanka Chopra's Assamese film at SCHLINGEL International Film Festival
She flagged off her productions Purple Pebble Pictures in 2015 along with her mother Madhu Chopra. Under her banner, she produced few regional movies in Marathi and Assamese film industry. Her produced film VENTILATOR was widely appreciated by the critics and audiences. Her recent Sikkimese film PAHUNA - THE LITTLE VISITORS has now made its mark at the at the SCHLINGEL International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience in Germany with a special mention by the jury in the 'International Feature Film Category'. The film received an overwhelming response at the European premiere of the film at the festival held on October 2 and October 5. It won the awards on October 6.
PAHUNA - THE LITTLE VISITORS narrates the story of three Nepalese children separated from their parents and their journey back home.
Paakhi A Tyrewala has directed the Sikkimese film, which is backed by Priyanka and her mother Madhu Chopra’s banner Purple Pebble Pictures (PPP).
