As the release date of Alia Bhatt’s next film RAAZI comes closer, the excitement surrounding it has been going absolutely off the charts. The story of a woman who marries a Pakistani Army official to send intelligence reports back to India has been the story which is talked about the most in recent weeks.
The song 'Dilbaro' of RAAZI was unveiled yesterday which is filmed during the wedding scene of Sehmat, the character portrayed by Alia, the song is a beautiful wedding procession ode. The song is definitely going to be popular in the wedding seasons all over the country.
Sung by Harshdeep Kaur, the song shows the inner battle in Sehmat’s mind as the day of her wedding arrives and she looks coy, sad and a bit afraid to leave her maternal house in the video as would any other woman.
Lyrics are penned by Gulzar which make the video of the song collaborate into an experience and not just something that gets stuck in your mind, the lyrics are carefully designed keeping in mind the scene and the subject matter of the film.
Composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy who have yet again shown that they still are the one of the best at the business with the first song 'Ae Watan' also being well received by everyone.
The video for the song shows the anxious bride going away and inserts are added of her training as a metaphor to remind the audience what her real mission is and that she is about to embark on a journey which is so vital to the nation.
Produced by Dharma Productions and Directed by Meghna Gulzar, RAAZI is set to hit the floors on 11th May 2018
