The Beethovan of the East, A. R. Rahman has his hands full with a task that he loves best, creating and promoting music that is close to his heart. He is very busy for the past few years working hard to set up a music conservatory in Chennai. Rahman is very happy that his dream project is nearing completion and is scheduled to open in June. This music conservatory is the first of its kind in India and its aim is to train Indian musicians in Western classical music.

Not content with that, Rahman plans to set up branches of the conservatory in various parts of India. The first branch will open in Kolkata in a couple of years. Now, that is really interesting and very heartening for quality music lovers, who are simply fed up with the mediocre stuff that is being dished out in the name of music.

While on Rahman, here is more good news for his fans, referred to as Rahmanaiacs. Rahman's next musical score from ADA-A WAY OF LIFE, a film produced by Kazaan Ahmad and directed by Tanvir Ahmad, is ready to be unleashed by Big Music.
