GULLY BOY Trailer: Ranveer Singh's stupendous rapper avatar will blow your mind

The makers of Zoya Akhtar directorial GULLY BOY is leaving no stones unturned to promote the film, the makers had always kept audience updated about the film. GULLY BOY happens to be one of the most awaited film of 2019 as it is the first Indian film to explore underground music scenes of the country, a few days back the makers had released a 1 minute teaser with trailer announcement along with an introduction to Ranveer Singh characters journey to become the ultimate Voice Of The Street and glimpses of underground rap battle, as well as romance between Ranveer Singh with Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin.

After delivering a power packed performance in SIMMBA, Ranveer Singh is set to return in the big screen with all new avatar, this time he'll be seen donning the character of a street rapper from the slums of Mumbai, after releasing the spectacular teaser, check out the full-length trailer of GULLY BOY. In the trailer, we see the inspiring journey the character of Ranveer Singh goes through and his constant struggle to convince his father who doesn't support his dream also we Ranveer working as a driver for a wealthy businessman. Alia Bhatt as a lively young girl cannot be missed, while Ranveer Singh draws inspiration from Kalki's success.

GULLY BOY is loosely based on the life of Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy who became famous for their song Mere Gully Mein.

Ahead of the release of the trailer, Ranveer posted a motion poster, in the poster, Ranveer can be seen sporting a colourful jacket as he stands beside the title GULLY BOY.

Apart from GULLY BOY, Ranveer and Alia will also be seen sharing screen space in Karan Johar's multi starrer period drama TAKHT. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in the pivotal roles.

GULLY BOY has been already selected for the screening at the Berlin International Film Festival. It will be shown in the Berlinale Special section, which will be held in February. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, GULLY BOY also stars Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz, Amruta Subhash and Vijay Verma. GULLY BOY is slated to release on February 14, 2019.
