Saif Ali Khan is gearing up for KAALAKANDI, a dark comedy, which talks about how a man gets in hold of drug and then enters into a mess.

The film has been shot in real locations of Mumbai and after CHEF its KAALAKANDI for which Saif is elated to be part off.

Being a Nawab , Saif during interviews of the film gave witty one liners and we are smitten by him.

Talking about getting into acting he said, “I was always excited seeing this profession acting and wanted to be an actor, off lately I turned actor. I would rather be an actor than lead a life of Nawab.”

Talking about being on social media, he said, “It’s a very pompous thing what do I show, my Pataudi palace, my horses it’s of no use. I like to keep it real. my son Taimur is a huge star he is a kid I will see how much love he gets when he grows up (laughs).

About his daughter Sara, he added, “I knew she is interested in acting and is serious about me unlike me I was just smitten by the word actor. It’s not about having a luxurious life. Sara is working towards it. As far as Ibrahim is concerned he hasn’t said anything about acting as of now, so I can’t comment on it.”

Lastly he spoke about ups and downs in his career and talking about it, he averred, “I think from last year, I gave more thought to acting than before. My last year’s films like RANGOON, CHEF and now KAALAKAANDI, are better performances than before.”

“My upcoming film BAZAAR is also a very commercial film but I think it’s a good work and it will be interesting. I am playing a slightly dangerous guy in it so it will be fun.” ended Saif
