SALMAN KHAN, AKSHAY KUMAR, AMITABH BACHCHAN, SANJAY DUTT
This Independence Day, it was touted to be the clash of biggies, what with 14th August ensuring that it was one bountiful extended weekend ahead for many a film makers. Well, the biggies would still be clashing; however the difference being that the line up of movies has now gone for a complete toss.
Prior to the strike, battle was between movies like Vipul Shah's LONDON DREAMS, Anthony D'souza's BLUE and Anees Bazmee's IT'S MY LIFE. However, tables have turned now with the release plans of all biggies going through a massive shift. As of now, each of the aforementioned films has moved to a latter date (some of the films are yet to announce their final plans) and other film makers have been given the privilege of arriving earlier.

So which are the movies gracing the big screen on 14th August?
Well, as of now, the plans are for Sujoy Ghosh to bring his ALADIN, Vishal Bhardwaj to strike again after OMKARA in the form of KAMINEY, Rumi Jaffrey to try his luck again after GOD TUSSI GREAT HO with LIFE PARTNER while Satish Kaushik to leave KARZZZZ behind him and bring in his teen pregnancy tale TERRE SANG.
Now that's quite an interesting development since while earlier there were actors like Salman Khan-Ajay Devgan-Asin [LONDON DREAMS], Akshay Kumar-Sanjay Dutt-Bipasha Basu-Katrina Kaif [BLUE] and Hurman Baweja-Genelia D'Souza [IT'S MY LIFE] vying for attention on the Independence Day, the stars that would eventually be appearing on screen read as Amitabh Bachchan-Sanjay Dutt-Riteish Deshmukh [ALADIN], Shahid Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra [KAMINEY], Tusshar Kapoor-Govinda-Fardeen Khan [LIFE PARTNER] and Ruslaan Mumtaz-Sheena [TERRE SANG].
