Guess other than Salman Khan, another actor who is enjoying his stint with the uniform on a regular basis is Ronit Roy. He is the only actor to be playing a cop film after film, what with none less than a hat trick round the corner. Moreover, the month of October has a huge part to play in there as well.
|UGLY and BOSS|
'Just a few months back he played a cop on Sanjay Gupta's SHOOTOUT AT WADALA. Now he would be seen as a cop in his next two films as well, UGLY and BOSS, both of which release next month,' informs a source.
Incidentally, UGLY and BOSS are separated by just five days. While the Anurag Kashyap directed film releases on Friday, 11th October, the Akshay Kumar starrer arrives on Wednesday, 16th October. CHECK OUT: BOSS Akshay Kumar does a Salman Khan!
'He played an honest cop on SHOOTOUT AT WADALA but in UGLY he is carrying strong grey shades. He is one of the three key protagonists in the film other than Rahul Bhatt and Tejaswani Kolhapure. Then in BOSS he has an out and out negative part to play. As a cop, he is shown as an authoritarian,' the source adds.
His fight to the finish with Akshay Kumar in the climax of the Anthony D'Souza directed affair is said to be the highlight of the film. Incidentally Ronit and Akshay were co-stars when their SAINIK had released exactly 20 years back on 9th October 1993.
Some coincidence here!
