Sonakshi Sinha is one of the few leading ladies in the industry today who has showcased a range of roles and owned them with elan. She's emerged as a reliable actor for her producers and as someone who can strike a perfect balance between commercial and content driven cinema.

Right from playing a village belle in DABANGG, a soft yet emotionally powerful role in LOOTERA, a complete action packed role in AKIRA, a quirky girl next door in NOOR to now a full on comedy caper HAPPY PHIRR BHAG JAYEGI, Sonakshi has been fearless with her choices and has consistently broken the mould to try new ideas. True to her name in the film, Sonakshi is Happy with the response from audiences for the film and the love that she's being showered with for her performance.

Talking about the range of roles she's done and response received for her latest film, Sonakshi says, "I feel blessed for being offered such a huge range of films in such short span of time in my career. I think it's important as an actor to try and invest in new ideas than sticking to the tried and tested formula. I don't like to restrict myself from trying out new roles and new stories. People have shown me so much love for HAPPY PHIRR BHAG JAYEGI and I'm forever thankful that audiences help me keep the faith in myself and my choices going. Doing the film, working with Mudassar and Aanand sir was definitely one of my most enjoyable and memorable experiences."

Not just films, Sonakshi believes in breaking moulds personally as well. From being an over weight teenager to becoming a fitness icon to many, Sonakshi is in the best physical shape now than she's ever been before. She says, "My goal is to consistently push my limits to be the best version of myself everyday. I've never been like this before. Now that I'm here, I only want to get better and better."

Sonakshi has quite a line up for 2019. She will be soon seen in Salman Khan's DABANGG 3 and Karan Johar's KALANK.
