After the Indian capital New Delhi, the DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.) seems to be the new shooting hub for Bollywood. As per DMRC sources, former Bollywood superstar (ni!) Sridevi's production company has sought permission from the authorities to shoot one of their upcoming Hindi ventures.

Our source adds that it's not only the Hindi film producers, like Sridevi Productions, but also producers of regional films who have shown a keen interest in shooting at the Delhi Metro. The recent most examples is that of a Tamil film production company which wants to shoot at different terminals of the state-of-the-art Delhi Metro Rail.

The keen interest being shown in shooting at the Delhi Metro is being attributed to the fact that shooting at the spic-and-span terminals and coaches is quite economical when compared to metros of other foreign cities. Moreover world class facilities are made available to the film producers at very cost effective prices and proper timings / schedules are provided to them so that they do not affect the commuters and vice-versa.
