Sushmita Sen ramp walks in a outfit inspired by nature

Mumbai based designer duo, Bhumika & Jyoti unveiled their Spring Summer 2019 collection - LIMONCELLO, inspired by NATURE with their debut on the second day of the FDCI Lotus Make-up India Fashion week 2018 with the stunning former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen as a showstopper.

Bhumika and Jyoti’s show gauged many eyeballs by showcasing a relaxed and joyful collection with free-flowing silhouettes, deeply inspired by nature embodying the shades of green and white. The designers brought alive their interpretation and love for nature using a combination of some rich quality fabrics like georgette, crepe organza and chiffon married with unique tulip embroidery. The collection has been a true reflection of ethical fashion and the designers are highly inspired by NATURE.

Sushmita, Sen stole the show with her charismatic look and walked the ramp effortlessly in her nature-inspired green color gown that was a depiction of a tulip flower and the outfit was donned by a turban. Talking about her experience she said "I was really excited to walk for the designer duo. I could feel the love and hard work put into the designing of the collection. It is a perfect fusion of modern and traditional. Bhumika & Jyoti have taken a great initiative by not only taking inspiration from the environment but also by being the first ones in the industry to be profound towards nature. It represents sustainability holistically with very thoughtfully selected fabrics and embroideries."

Talking about their debut at FDCI with the new collection, the designer said, "We were really looking forward to our debut at the FDCI Lotus Make-Up India Fashion Week. Our Spring Summer’19 collection, LIMONCELLO has been inspired by the core belief of our label, which is our affection for Nature. It is a mix of opulence and minimalism. We are overwhelmed to see so much appreciation from our audience. It was an immense pleasure to see former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, walk the ramp and grace our collection as the showstopper."
