Tajdar-E-Haram: John says Satyamev Jayate & stands up for the femme fatale!
‘Tajdar-E-Haram’, the latest from T-Series SATYMEVA JAYATE is inspired by an iconic, classic qawwali of the same name, made famous by the legendary Sabri bothers and is an ode to the ‘nabi’(prophet). The qawwali is refurbished by by Sajid-Wajid with lyrics by Danish Sabri (It more or less stays true to the classic) and features the lead actor, John Abraham, standing up for the women’s cause with a commencing headlines, Beimaan Pitega, Corruption Mitega, and goes on to bash up a fellow police inspector, who was dishonouring a woman. John is further shown taking part in the ‘Moharram’ mourning procession and offering penance, punishing himself with spears and walking on fire. More and more action scenes and confrontations sequences with Manoj Bajpayee and women praying for ‘nigahein karam’ (eyes of mercy) from the prophet and in turn the almighty.
