The first poster of THE NUN is scary to the core; gives glimpse of the Nun
The first poster of upcoming supernatural horror film THE NUN is out now, which gives a partial glimpse of the Nun’s face, who eventually turns evil. And it is scary to the core! THE NUN is set as a spin-off to 2016’s THE CONJURING 2, making it the fifth addition to THE CONJURING franchise. Directed by Corin Hardy, the film will follow the investigation of a mysterious suicide of a young nun in 1952 Romania, reportedly. A priest and a novitiate find themselves uncovering a much darker story as they try to investigate the answers for her unsuspected death. Risking their lives and their souls, the two confront the demonic force that first made its appearance in THE CONJURING 2. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret.
Warner Bros.’ THE NUN stars Oscar-nominated Demian Bichir as Father Burke, Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene, Jonas Bloquet as local villager Frenchie, Charlotte Hope as the abbey’s Sister Victoria, Ingrid Bisu as Sister Oana, and Bonnie Aarons, reprising her CONJURING 2 role as the title character.
Filmmaker James Wan, who has directed THE CONJURING & THE CONJURING 2, has produced THE NUN with Peter Safran, who has produced all the films in THE CONJURING franchise.
THE NUN is set for release on September 7.
