Tujhse Hai Raabta actors share Christmas memories

The cast of Sonali and Amir Jaffar's Tujhse Hai Raabta get nostalgic this Christmas.

Anuj Khurana: I remember that when we were kids, my sister and I used to put socks at night and when we used to wake up, we used to get those socks full of candies, chocolates and everything which we used to like. That tradition is still going on, still my sister keeps a sock on the 24th. Let my mom be with her or not and my mom makes sure that she gives goodies to her on the 25th of December. So, my mom is our Santa Claus.

Priya Shinde: Last year's Christmas was the best Christmas for me and my family as we went to Lonavala. We stayed in a bungalow where we played many games, chess, carom and pool. We enjoyed a lot there.

Rajeshwari Datta: I have a lot of Christmas memories. I celebrate Christmas every year but the ones I celebrated in school were amazing. I studied in a convent school and the atmosphere during Christmas is very different. I still remember that time. We used to decorate the Christmas tree then we used to perform Christmas carols, which used to be so much fun. We used to even light candles at church and then we used to have dance performances.

Poorva Gokhale: My fondest memories of Christmas are from school. I am from a convent school and there used to be a huge Christmas celebration. The preparations used to start a week before and we would help everyone decorate the school and even the church used to be decorated. 25th December used to be holiday but on 24th there used to be this Christmas celebration where we used to have a special program. We sang Christmas carols and had a lot of fun.

Reem Shaikh: My fondest Christmas memories would be going to Mount Mary church almost every Christmas on the 24th of December. That is a very sweet memory.

Sheban Azin: Most of the time, I have always been with my friends on Christmas. Usually, there used to be an event in our neighbourhood where my friends and I would celebrate. When I was in school, only Christians used to celebrate Christmas but nowadays everyone celebrates it. This is the time when we have family gatherings or get-togethers. I remember decorating a Christmas tree in school time. We used to make a group and decide that who will gift what to whom.
