URI trailer: Vicky Kaushal smittens as a staunch army officer

URI trailer is finally out and gosh it just what we expected, a true patriotic film which will blow your mind. In the trailer we get a first look into the characters of Paresh Rawal and Yami Gautam's first look, the chemistry between every character is what makes a film blockbuster and Aditya Dhar's direction is applausable. The trailer attracts you with the visuals itself and its one of a kind film where we'll get an inside look into the surgical strike but also the people behind the significant event, which involves the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

The trailer looks action-packed and Vicky Kaushal commands the screen as he takes on terrorists. A few seconds into the trailer and you'll have goosebumps by just looking at the events which took place in 2016.

 

The actor, who played a Pakistani major in RAAZI, will now be playing a commander-in-chief, who led a group of paratroopers in the surgical strike following terror attacks on the Indian Army camp in Uri, Kashmir. The first teaser looked promising with full of action and made us curious for more. The latest poster along with the trailer gives us a sense of pride that our soldiers fight for our country with all their blood and sweat. The film is based on the true story which happened in the year 2016 and what happened in those eleven days.

Actress Yami Gautam will star alongside Vicky Kaushal. The film also features Paresh Rawal, Kriti Kulhari, Mohit Raina, Manish Chaudhary in the pivotal roles.

URI will hit theatres on 11 January 2019.
