It was previously reported that Kaushal went through an extensive military training for his upcoming film URI, which is being directed by Aditya Dhar. Yesterday, actor Vicky Kaushal shared a first look poster of the film, based on the Indian Army's surgical strike across the LoC.
The actor, who played a Pakistani major in RAAZI, will now be playing a commander-in-chief, who led a group of paratroopers in the surgical strike following terror attacks on the Indian Army camp in Uri, Kashmir. In the poster, a brave young man is seen leading his men to a battle with extreme rifles and armors. The makers have unveiled the film's teaser and it looks promising with full of action. The poster along with the teaser gives us a sense of pride that our soldiers fight for our country with all their blood and sweat. The film is based on the true story which happened in the year 2016 and what happened in those eleven days.
Actress Yami Gautam will star alongside Vicky as an intelligence officer in the film. The film also features Paresh Rawal, Kriti Kulhari, Mohit Raina, Manish Chaudhary among others.
