Vice President Venkaiah Naidu watched URI: THE SURGICAL STRIKE with officers of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police and heaped praise on the war drama and congratulated the team for their fitting tribute to the valor of the Indian Army.

Featuring Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina, Paresh Rawal and Kirti Kulhari in key roles, the film is based on the surgical strike carried out by the Indian Army on seven terrorist launchpads. The film is in its third week after release is till waiving high instilling patriotism amongst the viewers.
