Though the actor has very little screen time, he is confident about his work. ''I have done my job very well. And you have to be good at your job, rest is audience's choice,'' feels the actor.
Ask him about his action sequences in the film, and he says, ''I have choreographed my own action and for me it was a very big thing. This means the director trusts me and is giving me the space to do the work according to my style. I am very happy about it.''
So how does it feel to be typecast as an action hero and pat comes the reply, ''I want to be stereotyped as an action hero. I am already stereotyped and I love it. It is like don't you want to be stereotyped as a good guy?''
So how does it feel to be referred as next action hero after Akshay Kumar and Sunny Deol? ''I am tired being referred as the next action hero. I am waiting to be referred as the current action hero of B-town,'' quips Vidyut.
Meanwhile, the fearless actor, recently made news for rescuing a stuntman. What does he have to say about it, to which Vidyut replied, ''It so happened that there was an action sequence on the edge of the cliff. Since I had only choreographed the sequence, so I told that guy (stuntman) to take the kick in a particular way. So when I jumped on him he probably must have lost his balance. As soon as I saw him falling I jumped to rescue him without thinking and grabbed his hand and pulled him up.''
Come November 29, and the audiences will definitely get to see his impressive pecs and some daredevil stunts. Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, BULLETT RAJA stars Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Shergill, Chunky Pandey, Vidyut Jamwal, Gulshan Grover and Raj Babbar and is all set to release on November 29, 2013.
