Bharat Shah and Sohail Khan Productions', FIGHT CLUB, which marks the directorial debut of Vidhu Vinod Chopra's nephew, Vikram Chopra, will commence shooting in December. According to Chopra, the film is an action comedy replete with some mind-blowing action sequences, which will be directed by an action director of international stature. "The action in the film will be something to watch out for. That's why the title. On the other hand it is a film with multiple characters where every character will play a significant role," he adds, stating that the film has as many as nine heroes and four heroines in it, including Suniel Shetty, Sohail Khan, Zayed Khan, Dino Morea, Ritesh Deshmukh, Asmit Patel and Ashish Chaudhary besides Amrita Arora and Shamita Shetty,
Chopra admits to having learnt the basics of direction from his uncle Vidhu Vinod Chopra, with whom he worked for eight years. "I learnt a lot from observation though I wasn't exactly assisting him," he reveals. But the decision to direct a film for Sohail Khan productions was born out of a long-time friendship. "Sohail and I have been buddies for more than 15 years so when he asked me whether I would direct this project for his banner, I jumped at the idea," he smiles.
