Most of us stay glued to our seats to watch the IPL action at homes especially on holidays or after office hours. Here are a few ideas & tips to keep you engaged munching as you scream for your favourite team or player.

Its low sodium and high magnesium content seems to be beneficial for those suffering from heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity. They are crunchy and healthy and recommendable to eat while watching cricket!

Fruit & Vegetable Salads: Fruits are important sources of many nutrients, including potassium, fibre, vitamin C and folate (folic acid) and don’t need any sort of cooking too. Pizza: Pizza is a type of sandwich that is often served open-faced which consists of bread, tomato sauce, cheese and various vegetable toppings like broccoli, baby corn, mushroom, etc. Cheese contains calcium, protein and vitamin A. Though this might not be the healthiest of choices for a few.

Juices: While orange juice may help prevent inflammation, Lemonade thwarts kidney stones, Grape juice boosts brain function. Various branded mixed fruit and vegetable juices are now available in stores in Tetra Packs that could be another option to drink & energize oneself while binge watching the cricket Premier League.

Coffee: A cup of coffee may provide more than just an energy boost. Coffee also appears to improve cognitive function and decrease the risk of depression so even if the opposition team is winning it shall help you to cope with the situation.

Water: While the above may be more to do with tastes and likings, do not forget to have enough water especially in the summer times. Indulgence in the game may make you forget that you haven’t gulped enough water.
