The trailer of Prawaal Raman’s DOBAARA is out and we will tell you why we found it to be extremely intriguing.

The way the scenes have been shot and presented in flashback narrative style gives it a very Hollywoodish kinda feel to it, as usually we find such kind of narration very rarely in Bollywood’s horror drama.

The casting of the film is another unconventional point about this film as real life siblings Huma Qureshi and Saqib Salem will be playing on-screen brother-sister duo. Adil Hussain who plays father of this sibling is cast opposite Lisa Ray and that in itself is yet another unusual pairing.

The films story revolves around a sibling’s quest to destroy a ‘Mirror’ which had ruined their childhood. Now whether they succeed in destroying the mirror or the mirror itself destroys them forever has to be seen once the film releases.

DOBAARA has a touch of Ram Gopal Varma’s style horror flicks as it reminds you of his films like RAAT, VAASTU SHASTRA and BHOOT. Seems like Prawaal Raman who had started his career as an assistant director to RGV has taken a leaf out of his mentor’s filmmaking style.

Throughout the trailer lies a lingering creepy feeling as we are unable to point out who the real culprit is or who is the real ‘Evil’.

Overall the trailer of DOBAARA: SEE YOUR EVIL is very gripping and intriguing. Though it’s an official adaptation of 2013 American supernatural psychological horror OCULUS  we will have to wait and watch if the makers of this film succeeds in doing justice to this film or end up making yet another shoddily made remake.
