Will AZHAR mark Emraan Hashmi's comeback?
This Friday will see the release of AZHAR, a biopic based on true life story of one of India’s most successful and controversial cricket captain, Azharuddin. Starring Emraan Hashmi in the title role, the film is being looked upon as a comeback vehicle for Emraan (going through a very rough patch in his career), and reasons are a plenty.
|AZHAR MOVIE WALLPAPERS|
First and foremost, biopics based on sports personalities tend to do well at the box-office, as we have witnessed in the past - PAAN SINGH TOMAR, BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG, MARY KOM etc.
AZHAR carries very good buzz as it is based on life of famous (and infamous at the same time!), Indian team cricket captain Azharuddin, whose interesting life, both on field and off field, has been the subject of curiosity and discussions. There are cricket fans who love him, others hate him but there still remains a great deal of interest in his life, and the audience both in India and overseas seems to be quite excited.
The music too is doing very well and two songs, ‘Bol Do Na Zara’ and ‘Bas Itni Si Baat Hai,’ are topping charts and Emraan Hashmi, music’s lucky mascot is back with a bang!
With Ekta Kapoor being the main producer, AZHAR is being promoted in a big way, and lead stars, Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai, are working really hard to promote their film.
