Ariana Grande-Butera is one of the world's leading contemporary recording artists and also well-known for her wide vocal range. She is not only a famous American singer-songwriter but also she is a talented actress. Recently, she is creating a buzz all around as she landed herself into legal trouble.
Apparently, as reported on a few international portals, the 25-year-old singer is being sued by professional photographer Robert Barbera for copyright infringement. According to Robert’s lawsuit, she posted unlicensed pictures of herself on Instagram that he had taken. His suit also says Ariana didn’t have his “permission or consent to publish the photographs” on her account. The photographer is seeking monetary relief for copyright infringement, including statutory damages up to $25,000 for each violation and punitive damages. The Instagram post featured Ariana carrying a see-through bag with the word “Sweetener” written on it.
However, when we took a glance to her Instagram account, the picture did not exist. To avoid this legal hassle, Ariana might have deleted that picture.
