"Thank you, Senator Sanders, for coming to my show, making my whole night and for all that you stand for," Ariana, captioned the photos of herself and Sanders. "I will never smile this hard again," the 26-year-old vowed.

Sanders also shared photos on social media. "I want to thank Ariana Grande for not only being a wonderful entertainer but also for being such an outstanding advocate for social justice," he wrote. "We must all be prepared – like Ariana has shown – to fight for everyone who is struggling. It was great to meet her in Atlanta last night."

Ahead of her Atlanta show, Ariana was forced to cancel a tour scheduled to be held in Kentucky over the weekend because she was "very sick" with a sinus infection. However, it seems Sanders' visit was just what the pop star needed to feel better.

That wasn't the only good news for Grande. The singer was nominated for a whopping five Grammys ahead of next year’s awards on Wednesday.
