Cardi B has shared a behind-the-scenes video from the production of her hit collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion ‘WAP‘.
First shared last week on Cardi B’s OnlyFans account, the nine-minute documentary first shows the rapper rehearsing the choreography with a group of backup dancers, along with snippets of the set construction.
The footage also show the point where Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B meet live snakes used in the video for the first time.
“It was scary,” Megan tells Cardi in the video after handling the snake.
“The snake’s big as shit. What are we gonna do? When you see how big these snakes is, you’re not about to be doing all that.”
As the clip notes, the shooting for ‘WAP’ began in early July, five days before the state of California ordered to increase indoor restrictions to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus pandmic. At points during the production, cast and crew were filming past midnight, reports NME.
The footage also features cameo appearances by Normani, Mulatto, Rubi Rose and Sukihana during the shoot.
At the end, the documentary fits in a snippet of an earlier livestream, which was by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion ahead of the tracks launch.
“I wish the people really knew how you were in real life, you are the nicest fucking person that I know. So, thank you so much for just blowing my mind,” Megan says in the video.
“This song – it is just you, you know what I’m saying? This is so you, it’s so nasty… This had to be the one,” the Bodak Yellow singer replied.
The video labeled ‘Part 1’, is the first installment of behind-the-scenes footage to be released.
