Cardi B pleads “Not Guilty”

Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B pleaded not guilty on Tuesday 25th June 2019 to felony assault charges relating to an alleged fight at a New York City strip club last year.

The 'I Like It' and 'Bodak Yellow,'  rapper and two members of her team have been charged with 12 crimes each including assault, harassment and conspiracy. On June 21, 2019, a jury indicted Cardi B on 14 charges, including two counts of felony assault with intent to cause serious physical injury, stemming from the incident. However She was arraigned on June 25, 2019 and pleaded not guilty on all charges.

“Not guilty, sir, honor,” said the rapper dressed in a dark blue and light pink pantsuit as she pleaded in state court, She didn’t speak to reporters but waved and blowed a Kiss at a small crowd of fans who shouted her name and took video on their cellphones.
