Chris Evans is pretty obsessed with his furry friend.
The 39-year-old actor knows how to get his fans’ pulses racing, as he spent some quality time with his longtime dog, Dodger.
On Sunday, October 25, the ‘Captain America’ star took to Instagram to share a sweet close-up photo of the pup resting his head on the actor’s bare chest.
“Dodger lying on DODGER,” Chris Evans captioned the adorable snap, referencing the tattoo of his furry companion’s moniker on his stomach.
On the same day, he shared another photo of his dog laying awkwardly on a couch pillow.
“He’s watching TV. Like this,” the actor wrote before adding, “I mean…”
Acording to reports, Chris Evans adopted Dodger from a local shelter in 2018 after coming across him on the set of his 2017 film ‘The Gifted’. One of the film’s final scenes was shot in a kennel, during which the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ star discovered that the dogs used in the scene were actually up for adoption.
Earlier this year, Chris Evans revealed that his love for Dodger is the reason why he joined Instagram in May.
“I guess I caved,” Evans said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon at the time. “I feel like such an old man. I’m so late to the party. You know what it is? I had too many good pictures of my dog. I was like, they’re being wasted in my phone. I gotta put them somewhere.”
The sweet snapshot of his pet comes about a month after Chris Evans accidentally posted a private photo of himself on his Instagram Story.
