Drake loves to spend some quality time with his 3-year-old son, Adonis.
On Thursday (Dec. 17), the 34-year-old rapper gave his fans a closer look into his life as a dad by posting a series of rare photos with his son on his Instagram Story.
In the adorable snapshots, the proud dad can be seen getting his young son ready for the day. The father-son duo were all smiles in matching black ensembles as Drake puts a blue durag on his son’s head.
Another pic shows, the Grammy winner’s mother, Sandy Graham, watching her son and grandson lovingly while the musician adjusts the durag on the toddler’s head.
The sweet photos come nearly a month after Drake shared posted a sweet snap that showed the father-son duo cuddling up next to each other after Thanksgiving. In the picture, the artist can be seen leaning on his kid’s shoulder while enjoying some quality time together.
Adonis was born in October 2017. Drake, who shares the child with Sophie Brussaux, officially confirmed he’s a father in June 2018 through lyrics from his fifth studio album ‘Scorpion’: “I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world/I was hidin’ the world from my kid,” reports Insider.
During an Interview with Lil Wayne on Young Money Radio in May, the ‘Hotline Bling’ crooner revealed why he felt it was the right time to share his son’s pics when he did.
“I posted those pictures [and] it was great for me. It was great to just share that with the world and I just felt like… it wasn’t even anything I talked to anybody about or anything I planned.,” Drake said at the time.
“I just woke up one morning and I was like, ‘You know what? This is just something that I want to do. I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son,” he continued.
“I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket. So, I just wanted to free myself of that.”
