Dwayne Johnson is bringing some holiday cheers to a family this Christmas.
The former WWE superstar and actor recently teamed with John Krasinski for a Christmas special episode of his YouTube series, ‘Some Good News.’
The 48-year-old Hollywood star, who virtually appeared on the show, connected with the young father named Jay Abel, who asked him to retweet a link to his eBay page where he was selling things in an effort to raise money for his children, reports Bleacherreport.
Moved by the fan’s tweet, Dwayne Johnson then joined Krasinski on the show dressed up in a “Dwanta Clause” costume who responded saying he would take care of Abel’s children’s Christmas lists.
“I thought Dwanta Clause can do better than a retweet,” the ‘Hobbs and Shaw’ actor said. “I want you to take all of your stuff off of eBay because Dwanta Clause is going to take care of all of that stuff, man.”
He also promised to give the family a tour of the set of the upcoming DC Comics movie ‘Black Adam.’
“We’ll show you around, give you a whole bunch of cool DC swag,” Dwayne Johnson said before adding, “Because I know that you are a big collector of comic book memorabilia, I got a little something special cooking up for you,” he said, explaining that he intends to give Justin a bound and signed copy of the film’s script.
“Your story is an inspiration. You are an inspiration. Not only to myself, to Dwanta Clause, but certainly to John, certainly to everybody who hears your story. You represent so many parents around the world who are going through the struggle this Christmas,” he said.
The actor also shared a video reel of the episode on his Instagram handle featuring himself in the Santa Claus outfit.
“Dwanta Claus is comin’ to town. Dwanta wanted to do something EPIC for families and kids this CHRISTMAS so he teamed up with his good buddy @johnkrasinski and the good folks over at @somegoodnews to spread the love, mana, and holiday cheer. And one super fan who inspired us all gets a very special surprise…”, he captioned the video.
He also shared another video, featuring himself, John Krasinski and Jay Abel giving a glimpse of the Christmas special episode.
“Dwanta Claus wanted to do something EPIC for @jaysnerdylife & his kids,” Dwayne Johnson wrote along with Jay’s inspirational story.
