Jamie Foxx warming up for a Biopic on ‘Mike Tyson’

Versatile actor Jamie Foxx bags his role for another Biopic based on the life of the renowned boxer Mike Tyson. Jamie Foxx recently had an interview with Mark Birnbaum over Instagram where he revealed about the biopic in the pipeline.

Mark Birnbaum said he is the greatest fan of Jamie as he is best in acting, best in music and best in comedy. Mark asked Jamie to give the definitive answer as to the movie, Jamie replied, “It’s a definitive yes” he added “Doing biographies is difficult and sometimes it takes 20 years”

He said “I met Mike twice once when I saw him at the height of his career and then when things got bad, I saw two different lives of Mike so I am excited about the movie to show those moments of different Mike’s”. He even mentioned that recently he met Mike and he said he was “happy” as he has lost the money there are no “vultures” around him that’s the person we want to show”.

Jamie Foxx is Grammy award winner and Oscar nominated and gained much of the fame from the biographical film ‘Ray’ where he played the character of ‘Ray Charles”


Mike Tyson the renowned heavy weight boxing champion known as the best boxer, rapist and also known for biting Evander Holyfield’s ear during a 1997 fight.

In 1986 he became the youngest heavyweight boxing champion of the world at the age of 20. In July 1991 Tyson was arrested for a rape of the American film actor Desiree Washington a Miss Black Rhode Island and Miss Black America contestant, in a hotel room. In Jail he converted himself to Islam and adopted name Malik Abdul Aziz and in 1995 he was released from the Jail. Tyson came back again brought him success. In 1997 match against Evander Holyfield he bit the opponents both ears severely injuring him. Later his boxing license was revoked by the Nevada State Athletic Commission but the same was restored in 1998. In 2006 Tyson retired.

Tyson was known for his ferocious and intimidating boxing style as well as his controversial behavior inside and outside the ring. Nicknamed “Iron” and “Kid Dynamite” in his early career, and later known as “The Baddest Man on the Planet”.
