Katy Perry has been spending pretty much of her pregnancy isolating at her home in LA during the coronavirus pandemic, but that hasn’t stopped her from sharing baby bump updates with her fans.

The singer has recently shared two striking snaps of herself standing against a stunning backdrop, wearing a brightly coloured, fringed kaftan dress.

The first snap shows Katy Perry, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom, staring off into the sunset wearing a colourful, tie-dye dress with a crochet collar.

In the second photo, the ‘Roar’ hitmaker appears to be embracing nature as she posed with her arms outstretched and her head tilted towards the sky.

Alongside with the beautiful photos taken in what is presumably the California desert, Katy Perry posted to Instagram on Tuesday, many of her fans assumed the artist’s caption belonged to a new song from her forthcoming album.

“I’ve got to shed all this skin / if I want the distance / let the sun in / pull out the weeds/ and focus my vision,” she wrote.

“ARE THOSE LYRICS FOR KP5?” asked a user, while other fan confidently wrote: “These have to be new song lyrics.”

“These are 100% lyrics from a KP5 song, Katy Perry loves to tease,” added another fan.
