Madonna just kicked off 2021 with an extravagant getaway.
The 62-year-old songstress has visited a total of five countries in just three weeks clocking up a massive 11,707 air miles despite strict travel bans amid the COVID-19 pandemic, reports WION.
According to the publication, the Queen of Pop reportedly flew from Los Angeles to London then to Malawi and Kenya in East Africa as part of a lavish winter trip.
Madonna was accompanied by her 26-year-old boyfriend, Ahlamalik Williams, along with five of her children – Rocco, 20, David Banda, 15, Mercy James, 14, and twins Estere and Stella, both eight.
She also shared footage from her trip to Kenya, where the group has been on a safari. In the clips posted on Instagram, the ‘Like a Virgin’ hitmaker sported various outfits, including a hat with a green jacket and a bandana during her visit to a few tribal villages, per Hollywood Life.
“Spending time with the Samburu tribe is always an honor. They are nomadic warriors and here the men are singing, dancing, and telling stories to attract the attention of the females.#Samburu #inspiration #kenya,” she captioned a clip.
“Visiting the Pokot Tribe in the Baringo Valley was a special moment for all of us. They invited us to dance with them and shared their daily prayer of thanks. #pokot Kenya @ahla_malik @legit.rbn,” she wrote in another video
According to Dailymail, she and her boyfriend are believed to have traveled by a private jet. The pair have previously traveled to Jamaica to celebrate the iconic singer’s 62nd birthday in August 2020.
