Ryan Reynolds who appeared recently on the 'Today' show, has recently avoided sharing the name of his newborn child by joking about giving her a moniker made up of "silent" letters.
The 'Deadpool' star was present on the show on Thursday for the promotion of his new Netflix film, '6 Underground.'
The shows host Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin tried to get Reynolds to reveal what the couple had named their third daughter. But the private couple has yet to reveal the identity of the newest addition to the family.
When Melvin quizzed him about the baby's name, Reynolds joked that he and his actress wife Blake Lively hadn't chosen a name yet. "We haven't yet! We're gonna be original, and all the letters in her name are silent. I want to give her something to push against in life." To which Melvin quipped back "She'll be known as anonymous".
"Yeah, exactly," Reynolds added.
Reynolds and Lively have two daughters: James, 4, and Inez, 3. The couple welcomed their third daughter in October. Reynolds subtly confirmed the couple had a third daughter via Twitter.
"I love B.C.," he wrote. "I want my daughters to experience the same natural playground I grew up in. On Oct. 21, the candidate you vote for will SHAPE CLIMATE POLICY. I’m proud of the climate progress made last 4 years.
