Scarlett Johansson’s ‘Black Widow’ teaser trailer out now


The first teaser trailer of Scarlett Johansson starrer 'Black Widow' is finally out now. The superhero movie marks the beginning of Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4.

Johansson who has already played the character, aka Natasha Romanoff, in the previous Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including Captain America, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame was first introduced in Iron Man 2 (2010).

Romanoff is a former KGB assassin and current agent of SHIELD, Marvel’s fictional counter-terrorism organization.

The teaser trailer unveils the first official look at Natasha’s solo adventures. Directed by Cate Shortland, the film is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War and finds Natasha grappling with the past she’s been outrunning.


The trailer begins with Johansson reflecting upon her past, her early life training to be an assassin and her journey to the Avengers family. The trailer also revisits the iconic ballet scene seen from the 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' and her bond with Jeremy Renner and Samuel L Jackson's characters. The trailer also explores her past and reveals Natasha's decision to reunite with her family.

The film also stars Florence Pugh, David Harbour and Rachel Weisz in key roles.
