Taylor Swift is spreading the holiday cheer as she released her new song, "Christmas Tree Farm," on Thursday night, People reported.
The songstress posted a photo of the songs cover along with a caption: "I actually did grow up on a Christmas tree farm. In a gingerbread house, deep within the yummy gummy gumdrop forest. Where, funnily enough, this song is their national anthem. #ChristmasTreeFarm song and video out now."
Along with the festive track, the superstar also shared a music video. The accompanying video features footage shot by her Swift's parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, on the family's farm called Pine Ridge Farm.
The nostalgic stroll features the young songstress as well as her brother, Austin Swift, and other friends and family, the magazine reported.
In the new track, Swift offered fans a little background about spending Christmas in her childhood home in Reading, Pennsylvania.
"In my heart is a Christmas tree farm where the people would come to dance under sparkles and lights," Swift sings in the song which reminds her of family and the holiday memories. "Just being in your arms takes me back to that little farm," she sings.
