The bizarre trailers for the new 'Cats' film have drawn widespread online ridicule.
The singer shared her sweet experience she had with her 'lovely' co-star Judi Dench after filming a scene with her and Idris Elba in a conversation with Cats composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, with whom she co-wrote a new song for the film called 'Beautiful Ghosts'.
The singer has defended the film saying: "I really had an amazing time with Cats. I think I loved the weirdness of it."
"I loved how I felt I’d never get another opportunity to be like this in my life," the 29-year-old pop star told British Vogue.
Webber also asked Swift about how she wrote and recorded her single 'Lover' while filming 'Cats', and asked if her love of performing live inspired a desire to pursue acting, and she admitted, "I have no idea."
"When I was younger, I used to get questions like, 'Where do you see yourself in 10 years?' I’d try to answer," Swift said. "As I get older, I’m learning that wisdom is learning how dumb you are compared to how much you are going to know."
The full conversation between Swift and Webber will appear in the January issue of British Vogue, which is set to hit shelves in Dec.
