Taylor Swift has gifted Katy Perry a hand-sewn blanket for her new-born daughter, Daisy Bloom, along with a heartfelt note proving their friendship is firmly back on track.

In August, Katy and her fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom, welcomed their first child together, via Unicef, for whom they serve as Goodwill Ambassadors.

Since the birth of their daughter, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been receiving numerous congratulatory messages from wellwishers and fellow celebrities alike.

On Monday, September 14, the Fireworks hitmaker shared a couple of photographs on Instagram revealing the incredibly thoughtful gift from Swift, a blanket with “Baby Bloom” embroidered in the corner.

“Miss Daisy Bloom adores her hand-embroidered blankie from miss @taylorswift,” she captioned the post, along with flower and dove emojis to signify her daughter’s name.

“Hope it’s one she drags around for years till it becomes an unrecognisable shred that she keeps in her pocket as a teenager,” Katy Perry added.

The photos showed a pink silky blanket laid out on a table embroidered with a flower, stars and the year 2020 in the top left corner.

Another picture shared by Katy perry, shows a snippet of the handwritten card addressing to Katy, Orlando, and their Little One, in which the Folklore musician wrote about her own childhood.

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift were BFFs for years as they rose to fame, becoming two of the biggest pop stars in the world. The pair reportedly had a fallout when Katy allegedly stole some of Taylor’s backing dancers for an upcoming tour.
