Timothee Chalamet has finally opened up on the now-infamous PDA shots of him and Lily-Rose Depp from last year.
In an interview with GQ, the ‘Call Me By Your Name’ actor revealed that he was “embarrassed” by his kiss with Lily-Rose Depp after the pics went viral.
According to reports, the pair were snapped kissing in Italy last year, which seemingly confirmed that Timothee Chalamet, 24, was dating Johnny Depp’s famous 21-year-old daughter. The couple was reportedly spotted having a steamy makeout session on a yacht in Capri, Italy.

“I went to bed that night thinking that was one of the best days of my life,” Timothee Chalamet recalled. “I was on this boat all day with someone I really loved, and closing my eyes, I was like, indisputably, ‘That was great.'”
“And then waking up to all these pictures, and feeling embarrassed, and looking like a real nob? All pale? And then people are like: ‘This is a P.R. stunt.’ A P.R. stunt?! Do you think I’d want to look like that in front of all of you?!” he continued.
The ‘Little Women actor and Lily-Rose Depp, whom he starred alongside in Netflix’s ‘The King,’ sparked dating rumours back in December 2018.
The loved-up couple ended their relationship in April 2020 after dating for a little over a year.
Timothee Chalamet was later spotted locking lips with actress Eiza Gonzalez in June 2020, while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
On the work front, Chalamet will be next seen in much-awaited sci-fi epic ‘Dune,’ set for release next year, and in Wes Anderson’s ‘The French Dispatch.’ He will also feature in a forthcoming Bob Dylan biopic.
