Top Gun Maverick: Tom Cruise gives a sneak peek at the highly anticipated sequel

Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer recently gave their fans another sneak peek at the much-awaited sequel film Top Gun: Maverick, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters in June 2020.

The new Top Gun film will be seeing original cast Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer reprising their iconic characters as Maverick and Ice Man.

Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer posted the official poster of the film, on their respective social media ahead of the official trailer due to be released this week. The poster features Cruise, 57, standing beside his plane while looking above to see other aircraft flying in the sky.

"Feel the need. Trailer tomorrow. #TopGun," Cruise wrote on Twitter.

Kilmer, 59, also shared the poster on his Instagram, where he captioned "It may be ‘ice’ cold outside, though maybe this will warm you up. Finally, get to share this @topgunmovie poster. Even better, a new trailer… TOMORROW! #youcanbemywingman."

The follow up to the 1986 film also stars Jon Hamm, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell and Ed Harris in key roles.
