Yang Hyun-suk has resigned from the post of chief executive officer of YG Entertainment amid various allegations against the company. Yang Hyun Suk's brother Yang Min Suk also announced he will resign from his position as CEO of YG Entertainment.
Yang Hyun-suk is a South Korean music executive, rapper, dancer, and record producer. He was the founder and chief executive officer of YG Entertainment, one of the biggest record companies in South Korea and a member of popular boyband Seo Tae Ji and Boys in the 1990s. In 1996, he established YG Entertainment and released his first solo album which featured a song composed by Seo Taiji.
Yang Hyun-Suk has produced hugely successful artists under his company, most notably Jinusean, 1TYM, Seven, Big Bang, 2NE1, Winner, iKon, Tablo, Epik High, Blackpink, and Psy. Psy is well known for hit single "Gangnam Style"
