‘The 355’ trailer has been released online and its awesome.
Universal Pictures has released the first action-packed trailer for upcoming espionage thriller ‘The 355’ today revealing the impressive A-list ensemble.
The woman-led spy thriller stars Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Penelope Cruz, Diane Kruger, Fan Bingbing, Sebastian Stan, and Edgar Ramirez in pivotal roles.
‘The 355’ follows an American spy who spearheads an elite group of female agents from around the world who team up to prevent brewing conflicts and halt an incident that could send shockwaves through the world.
The official synopsis for the film reads: “When a top-secret weapon falls into mercenary hands, wild card CIA agent Mason “Mace” Brown will need to join forces with rival badass German agent Marie former MI6 ally and cutting-edge computer specialist Khadijah and skilled Colombian psychologist Graciela on a lethal, breakneck mission to retrieve it, while also staying one step ahead of a mysterious woman, Lin Mi Sheng, who is tracking their every move.”
“As the action rockets around the globe from the cafes of Paris to the markets of Morocco to the wealth and glamour of Shanghai, the quartet of women will forge a tenuous loyalty that could protect the world—or get them killed.”
Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Dark Phoenix) will direct the high-profile film from a script he co-wrote with Theresa Rebeck.
Jessica Chastain and Kelly Carmichael will serve as producers for the actor’s Freckle Films, along with Kinberg for his Genre Films. The film is executive produced by Richard Hewitt (Bohemian Rhapsody).
‘The 355’ is set for a theatrical release on Jan. 15, 2021.
