Would a Rakhee Sawant and an Abhishek Awasthi have got an opportunity to dance with Shah Rukh Khan in their life time where it not for Nach Baliye where they shared the dancing floor with the likes of Shah Rukh Khan or a Jai Bhanusali have been able to get an opportunity to dance with all the celebrities who have graced various programmes in Nach Baliye. Not likely.

The reality shows of these kinds which provide an opportunity to the participants to interact with the established stars also gives them an opportunity to come up with a performance that could register in some corner of the mind of these stars so that in case of new opportunity these budding stars could be given an opportunity. Farah Khan had already said so while participating in Sare Gama Pa about raja, that if he would have met her earlier, he could have been given an opportunity to sing in her film OM SHANTI OM. In the same jest she also had told Oonir the winner of the Sare Gama Pa that he can have the chance of working in the next film for Farah Khan Production. Shah Rukh had also praised handsomely about the performance of Rakhee Sawant and Abhishek Awasthi.

These celebrity participants also some time are able to mitigate the unsavory situation that may have developed or have been developing during the course of a performance. This was clearly made evident during one of the performances that Mika had given in Jhalak Dilkhlaja where he had pushed himself into a spot and was able to move out from thanks to the prompt manner in which Rishi and Neetu Kapoor had handled the situation in a deft manner.

While the entry of these stars may have been to add to the TRP of the programmes, this also unconsciously has brought in an element of sobriety to the process when the things start to go out of the hand. In addition to this, the film stars who might have been forgotten are getting a new lease of life by being invited to these programmes. Besides, the present generation who may not have been aware about the magic the stars of yesteryears had created during their heydays, owing to the remixed songs on which they have grown, find themselves mesmerized to be able to have an interface with the original numbers and original actors of the performances on the screen. Would a Neetu Kapoor would have danced once again during a performance, but for the invitation that she was given in Nach Baliye. it indeed is a win-win situation for one and all.
